Rodolfo Llopis Ferrándiz (Callosa d'en Sarrià, February 27, 1895 - Albi, Francia, July 22, 1983)
Socialist leader and pedagogue. He was a deputy for Alicante from 1931 to 1936. Under Secretary of the Presidence in the governments of Largo Caballero in the Civil War. During the year 1947 he was President of the Republican Government in exile. Secretary General of the PSOE from 1944 to 1972. Secretary General of the PSOE (historical) from 1972 to 1974. Candidate for the Senate for Alicante by the "Alianza Socialista" in 1977.
