París al Habla was a program of entertainment which contained paragraphs referring to the news of the world of culture and arts in France, although always from the prism of the anecdotal. Always interesting at first glance, the subjects were treated very deep and trivial. Somehow, it represented modernity and the forefront of radio programmes of evasion, and somehow posed a "demystification" of high culture, popularizing her and adapting it to mass consumption, seeking at all times the complicity of the listener, in a clearly self-assured tone.
Obviously, looking for entertainment and evasion from the news of one of the most important European capitals in his time, allowed to serve a double purpose. Circumvent the Francoist censorship problems, whose margins were very narrow, while projecting a vision of France and Europe which is close to the Viewer, and thus, demystifying complex and alien reality in high degree to the listener environment of our country. An element that could be key in the Spain of the time, taking into account the importance of myths in the ideological construction of Francoism and the bombast of his speech. From this perspective, underhand and allegorical criticism is clear.
