The recovery of democratic memory has been key to influencing the vision that Valencian society has of the historical events and processes of the Second Republic, the Civil War and the Franco regime.
For this reason, the Cátedra Interuniversitaria de la Memoria Democrática de la Comunidad Valenciana offers, to the professors in active, to the students and to the interested people or who develop an active work in recovery of the memory, a formation in investigation, didactic and divulging of key historical facts to explain the development of the current Spanish society.
On January 16, 2018 was held in the Basque Parliament a seminar about Francisco Javier de Landaburu and his book La causa del pueblo vasco organized by The Basque Parliament and the University of the Basque Country.
A book has just been published on the contents of the seminar: the presentations by Professors Leyre Arrieta and Jon Arrieta, the interventions by Itziar and Gorka Landaburu Illarramendi and the audio transcription of the Radio Paris program, Paristik Euskal Herrira. It is a study on the exhumations of common graves in Spain from 2000 to 2018. The scarce implication of the different governments is highlighted and an updated balance of these interventions is offered.
