LoCloud has launched an international competition focused on local culture and heritage. The competition consists of two categories, to which participants to individual or teams of no more than five people may be submitted:
1) my local heritage. It encourages people to explore a favorite spot of your town or part of their local history through resources online for Europeana, and submit your experience online through web pages, a blog or even a video.
(2) my services LoCloud. It is for developers, aggregators and individual cultural institutions offer a sample of the use of the services developed in LoCloud.
The deadline for the delivery of the works is from October 1, 2015.

These are the proceedings of the XII Congress of the Association of contemporary history in the year 2014 and organized by the departments of contemporary history at the Autonomous University of Madrid and Complutense University.
The papers published in these proceedings include many different objects of study: history of war and conflict history, history of education, history of international relations, Global history, economic history, business history, history of the relations of gender, history compared, Local history, church history, Postcolonial history... and all referred to different fields : Spain, Europe, America and Asia.
