Devuélveme la voz: sound sources for contemporary history
Thursday, March 26, we explain our project to the students of 2nd year of history at the University of Alicante.
During the session, besides knowing the structure of the portal, we were able to take a tour of sound content of the Franco regime. So could hear from the voice of Rafael Albertí proclaiming his desire to release one of his theatrical works in Madrid even to the way in which had many closures of emission in the radio with suffered proclamation of "Viva Franco, above Spain".
On the occasion of 20th anniversary of the death of the singer-songwriter and poet Ovidi Montllor, the University of Alicante will pay you tribute tomorrow Tuesday, March 10, at 11 a.m., at the Aula Magna of Filosofía y Letras II building.
The ceremony will begin with a screening of the documentary "Ovidi Montllor, crónica d' un artist". The actor Pep Cortés, friend of the honoree, will speak about his life and his musical and artistic career. It will end up with a reading of his poems.
On March 4 the class of 4th ESO of S.S. Feyda de Alicante City Centre visited the library of the University of Alicante.
It was an informative presentation about what meant censorship in the Franco regime, paying special attention to music censorship, relying on sound portal Devuélveme la voz and the library itself.
Students could see the disks that had prohibited its radio broadcasting, compare the difference between the national and international covers of the same as well as listening to songs, today emblematic, but they had prohibited its dissemination: Imagine John Lenon or Just like a woman by Bob Dylan.
In the radio program El Rincón del Gato (issued December 12, 2014) met two of our team members before the Conference Las frecuencias que no existieron that took place days before.
You link the podcast of the program: Introduction and highlights --1 minute of silence for the victims of violence against women -- Manel Nieto, Secretary General of CCOO in the regions of nord -- Alcoyana, ERE 2015, Gil Grimaldos --8th anniversary dependency Act, Teo Díaz, the platform of the Unit Coordinator -- Rincón del Gato: Devuélveme la voz.
From here we want to thank for the excellent organization of the presentation ceremony in which we participate and, in particular, Union Radio and the Rincón del Gato Comisiones Obreras for the love and interest with which we were received.
