The 27th of October is the World Day for Audiovisual Heritage listed by UNESCO to raise awareness of the need to take measures to safeguard the audiovisual documents.
As usual, the National Library of Spain has organized a conference structured around three round table to commemorate this day: "The sound files as a source for musical research"; "Audiovisual sources for historical and social knowledge"; "Oral archives as a source of research."
During the seminars will reflect on the value of sound and audiovisual documents as primary sources in academic research.

Last week, the filmmaker Max Renault and the french hispanist Gérard Malgat, drivers of a documentary about the history of emissions in Spanish French Radio Television, better known as Radio París, during the Franco regime.
The documentary is now in the first phase focused on documentation and interviews with employees of this station or its descendants.
